1. palm sunday – the memory of how my grandmother would weave the palms from church into special shapes… finding them years later scattered throughout the house in little nooks & crannies years after she’s been gone… blessed!
2. celebrating easter sunday at church with my family; remembering the meaning, the story and holding Christ at the center of all the festive traditions…
3. biting the ears off the chocolate easter bunny ;)
4. coloring easter eggs
5. enjoying egg salad sandwiches the next day for lunch
6. easter egg hunts around the kitchen & living room with my sisters & brother… perfect moments!
7. honeybaked ham
8. my mom’s amazing scalloped potatoes… deliciousness!!!
9. brand new easter Sunday dress and special shinny new white patent leather easter shoes to complete the outfit… my mom dressing all three of us sibling girls in the same dresses that she handmade an annual easter sunday picture & me always having a cat in my arms vrs my easter basket ;)
10. still owning the same easter basket I grew up with… priceless!
